How We Prioritize Health at The Playroom

At The Playroom, we believe that a healthy community is the foundation for safe, joyful play. That’s why we take extra care to keep our space clean, our policies flexible, and our families supported, especially during sickness season.

Our Scrub-a-Dub Toy Tub
Right on our big yellow wall, you’ll see our Scrub-a-Dub Toy Tub. If a toy goes in a little one’s mouth, parents can pop it in the tub. From there, it gets cleaned and sanitized before returning to the floor—no exceptions!
Daily Cleaning (Yes, every day – often multiple times per day!)
Even if a toy never makes it to the Scrub-a-Dub Toy Tub, we clean and sanitize all toys and equipment daily. Our floors also get a thorough wet-vacuum and mop to ensure they’re safe and fresh for busy little hands and feet.
Flexible Play Policies
We know life with kids is unpredictable, and we never want parents to feel pressure to come while anyone is sick. That’s why:
Punch cards never expire—so you can wait until everyone is feeling better before coming back to play.
Miss a class? No problem! We’ll add a free play session to your account in lieu of a missed class.
Because when it comes to children’s health, we’re all on the same team—and your child’s well-being will always be our top priority.
See you on the (clean!) play floor soon. 💛
